The public closing session of the ILLIANCE Agenda took place on 2 July at Bosch’s facilities in Aveiro, under the theme “Building the Future of Intelligent Buildings.” The event marked the formal conclusion of a mobilizing project that brought together the participating entities around the development of innovative solutions for smarter, more efficient and more sustainable buildings.

Over more than four years of implementation, the ILLIANCE Agenda fostered collaboration between companies, research centres and academic institutions, with the aim of conceiving, developing and industrializing innovative technologies aligned with the challenges of carbon neutrality, energy efficiency, digital and climate transition, electrification, smart energy management, and the improvement of well-being and safety in buildings.

The session began with reception and welcoming remarks, followed by institutional opening speeches and the presentation of the ILLIANCE Agenda’s results, challenges and future perspectives. The programme also included a round table, a closing moment and a technology exhibition accompanied by a networking coffee, providing a space for exchange among partners and participants.

This event offered an opportunity to present the main results achieved, as well as to reflect on the legacy of the ILLIANCE Agenda and the expected impact of the solutions developed for the intelligent buildings sector. The session therefore reinforced the importance of cooperation among the various stakeholders involved and the value of collaborative innovation in building a more sustainable and technologically advanced future.
