On June 26th, at 10:30am, the University of Aveiro (UAveiro) is a stop on the Hydrogen Roadmap. The session, which takes place in the Academic Acts Room, in the Rectorate Building of UAveiro, will bring together companies, municipalities, higher education institutions, researchers, technicians, students and other agents of the territory, with the aim of promoting a greener future.
The initiative is the result of a partnership between the Portuguese Industrial Association (AIP) with the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre/Academy for H2 and is supported by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Action.
The Roadmap started on March 31st, in Portalegre, and has a meeting scheduled in the Municipality of Aveiro (NUT3 - Intermunicipal Community of Aveiro Region), more specifically in UAveiro, on June 26th. This session takes place throughout the morning and includes a workshop and a debate with the presence of experts from the main players and can also be followed through the Youtube or Facebook channels of the Portuguese Industrial Association.
Over six months, the Hydrogen Roadmap will hold 23 dissemination and awareness sessions in various parts of the country - metropolitan areas and intermunicipal communities - to promote an industrial policy around green hydrogen, which is considered one of the main solutions for the decarbonization of the economy.
Professor Luís Tarelho, from the University of Aveiro, will address the theme of Green Hydrogen in the PRR Agendas, among which the ILLIANCE Agenda is included.
