The Smart Systems Integration Conference has as its key mission is to align research, technology and dissemination activities along the entire value chain for future smart and sustainable system solutions. It was held between 8 and 10 of April in Prague, Czeck Republic. Joana Gomes from CeNTI was present with the oral presentation entitled ‘Innovations in façade systems: Smart Solutions for Optimising Energy Efficiency in Buildings’.

SSI – Smart Systems Integration is recognised as one of the leading conferences for sharing research and development in intelligent systems, enabling contact with and between market-leading companies and organisations and technological innovation. This event includes lectures given by members of the most influential companies and organisations in the field, as well as oral presentations and posters on a range of topics. SSI presents current trends and innovative products, highlights new market opportunities for the industry, and helps to foster the development of new technologies for the integration of smart systems and their applications. The topics are geared towards various areas of industry related to smart systems, presenting developments across the entire value chain, from materials to manufacturing processes and system integration, testing and applications.  This work was included under WP4 – Proj. 15 “iPOWER”.
