The University of Aveiro was present at the 15th International Conference on Advanced Materials Research (ICAMR 2025), which took place between 17 and 19 January 2025 in Bali, Indonesia. Professor António Bastos gave an oral presentation of the work entitled ‘Ultrasonic Welding of Copper Sheets for Heat Pumps’, jointly authored by António B. Pereira, Joana Batista and Bernardo Mascate, which shows recent developments in ultrasonic welding of copper sheets for heat pumps. At the invitation of the conference organisers, Dr Celine XI was also the conference chair. It should be emphasised that this participation as chair allowed him to get to know a wide range of individuals, which is useful for publicising the project. This action is part of the work of WP 1 – Proj. #1 “Heat Pumps”.
